Ms. Zimmerman is vice president of the SwedishAmerican Medical Group, where she directs physician recruitment and retention and serves as administrator of employed physician services. She led the development of medical group in 1993 with the acquisition of 23 local physicians, and since then the group has grown to more than 125 employed providers and is the most-preferred group in northern Illinois. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin.
